It’s been a few months since my last visit, and I am so incredibly impressed by how Cove Café & Lounge keeps upgrading its space. Every time I come back, they’ve added something beautiful 😍
The new wall paintings are absolutely stunning and add such a vibrant, artistic touch to the venue. Combined with the even more lush, thriving green plants they’ve added, the entire garden and outdoor area look like a dream. The greenery is so dense and well-kept now, stepping in here truly feels like finding a private slice of peace right in the middle of the city. It’s easily one of the most beautiful and calming spots in Colombo to just sit back and unwind.
As for the food, I ordered a slice of their strawberry cheesecake (my all time favourite). This was actually my fourth time having it, and it never disappoints! It’s topped with a rich, delicious jam and fresh strawberries, with a perfect creamy flavor that isn't overly sweet. It is a absolute must-try, and I already know I’ll be purchasing it again and again on my next visits!
If you are looking for great aesthetics, a peaceful atmosphere, and incredible desserts, this place just keeps getting better. Highly recommended! ❤️
A café with amazing food and a great interior. Highlights include the Cappuccino, Snickers Shake, All Meat Royale Pizza, Devilled Chicken Burger, Cheesy Chicken Fries, and Blueberry Cheesecake. Friendly, cooperative staff make it a place worth revisiting.
I had a great experience at Cove Cafe & Lounge! The highlight of the meal was definitely the chef’s special cheese kotthu, it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was satisfying.
The drinks were just as impressive. The café mocha and cappuccino were smooth and well-balanced, and the pineapple juice was fresh and refreshing.
A special mention to Imanya for her excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout our visit.
