Cozy little cafe in the heart of Colombo. Great ambience and a calm place to spend a quiet morning. Great place to work and read.

Food quality was disappointing. Ordered a tuna creamy sandwich which was dry and the pieces were falling apart. “ The one pan wonder “ a version of shakshuka came with a whole load of bread which was stale and didn’t have a hint of garlic nor properly toasted. The shakshuka was hopeless. Both drinks the Latte and the peach mojito was good.

Service was very poor. We had to request for cutlery, serviettes extra and had to keep reminding to bring the drinks. As the order was served haphazardly.

The ambiance within the cafe was great but the garden area needs maintenance.

Recently went there and the vibe was perfect super calm and relaxing. The grilled creamy chicken pasta was so good and definitely worth the price. The iced mocha wasn’t great though. Other than that the staff were really friendly and the place felt so cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend! 😊

Food & Drinks:The coffee was enjoyable. Had a selection of iced drinks which was interesting and unique. The food was good overall, although more vegetarian options would be appreciated.
Staff: Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The staff had a good understanding of the menu and were able to assist with recommendations.
Environment:A calm and quiet atmosphere, making it a nice place to spend an evening. Music could give a a better experience
Cleanliness & Hygiene:The downstairs area was clean and well maintained. However, the upstairs area could benefit from more regular cleaning, as there was noticeable dust buildup.
Room for Improvement:Some of the light fixtures contained dead insects and could use more frequent cleaning. And would suggest to consider using the space more precisely
Overall:A pleasant experience with friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere. I would visit again.

Customer service is a 10/10, went on weekday so it wasn’t that crowded and chill. Can read a book or hangout with your friends. Food was good, can improve more. Got a big bowl of a poke bowl and it was good. The prices are fair too.

I visited Cafe Britt with my friends for a surprise birthday party, and from the moment I called to ask for the menu until the end of our hangout, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

They hosted us very well, allowed us to settle our bills separately, and there was no time limit, which we really appreciated.

The café also has parking space available, which was very convenient. There are seating areas both downstairs and upstairs, as well as an outdoor seating area, giving plenty of options depending on the atmosphere you prefer. We occupied the upstairs dining area, which was spacious and had a lovely view.

The food arrived quickly. While the food could improve slightly in terms of taste, the drinks were good overall. I had the Iced Vanilla Latte, it was nice, though a little too sweet for my preference.

What stood out most was how the staff actively inquired about our experience and were genuinely eager to receive criticism and feedback. As a café that has just started out, I think that attitude is incredibly important. The owner also took the time to speak with us, which was a nice touch.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Cafe Britt! I hope the staff continue to maintain this wonderful attitude and service!
